Just do it!

It is very normal to have trouble in life. It is normal to encounter aggravation and setbacks. Do not think that you are the only one struggling. A life that has too much trouble or bad luck though needs to be turned around in the right direction. Back at the beginning there was trouble. Even if you do not believe in God or the bible, look historically at what happened to Adam and Eve. The couple had two sons, Cain and Abel. What happened? Cain got mad at his brother Abel and killed him. That act was very bad and caused untold problems for future generations. Later in the bible a man named Jabez made a request to God. "Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain." God granted his request. This was very good and caused many blessings for future generations.

It is possible to have a life that is fulfilling, but we need to work at making it good and fulfilling. For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for your welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.

Today do not look at your problems. Ignore them like they were your enemy because they are. I know that it is tempting to concentrate on your problems and it may be near impossible to get out of your mind, but try anyway. Now concentrate on one blessing in your life. Take an inventory of your life. What type of things are blessings? Family, friends, good health, intelligence, humor, patience, kindness or anything else that is good for you or others. Concentrate on that aspect of your life all day long and be grateful for it. Get up and do it!
