How are your circumstances today? Good or bad? If your circumstances are good count your blessings. If your circumstances are not so good then know for sure that your life can be improved. Joy can be your companion. Peace can be your brother. How you may ask. As we have discussed, the battle is in the mind.

Replace your scattered thoughts with thoughts of joy and happiness, peace and prosperity. Start off small. Think of some pleasant experience, put a smile on your face when you feel like frowning, put a twinkle in your eye and a bounce in your step. When a negative thought enters your mind kick it out by refusing to dwell on it. Do not let bad thoughts get a foothold. Compare good thoughts with thoughts of defeat, depression and despair. Even if you are facing a tough situation, ask yourself will thoughts of defeat improve your situation? Does it cost anything to think positively and to put a smile on your face.

Granted your problem will not disappear overnight and it may not be easy to change your attitude. But, when you change your attitude you are slowing the charge of the negative momentum in your life and slowly replacing it with the light of joy. Give it a try.
